When you install and use Metaobject Bulk Import & Export, we collect information necessary to operate the app, including your Shopify store domain, store owner contact details, app configuration settings, and the metaobject data you choose to import or export through the app. We do not collect customer payment information, and we only access data required for the app's core functionality.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the app's bulk import and export features, process metaobject requests you initiate, troubleshoot technical issues, communicate important updates about the app, and ensure compliance with Shopify's platform requirements. We never use your data for purposes unrelated to delivering and supporting the app.

Data processed through the app is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure and is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the app's functionality or as required by law. If you uninstall the app, associated store data is deleted from our systems within 48 hours, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate the app, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. Any such providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, we work continuously to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

The app uses official Shopify APIs, including the Admin API and GraphQL Metaobject endpoints, to read and write metaobject definitions and entries within your store. We request only the access scopes required for bulk import and export functionality, and all API usage complies with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your data at any time. You may exercise these rights by contacting us directly, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have additional rights under applicable data protection laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

We may rely on trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, and error monitoring to keep the app reliable and secure. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function and are contractually required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy laws and this policy.

Metaobject Bulk Import & Export is a business tool intended for use by Shopify merchants and their authorized staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
